According to information reaching ONELUCIAN News, bomb scares have been received at the Bank of Saint Lucia on the Waterfront in the Heraldine Rock Building at 9:21 AM, and at La Place Carenage on Jeremie Street at 11:15 AM.
Calls were made to both locations and police were notified. The areas have been cordoned off and the police Explosives Unit is investigating.
The Heraldine Rock Building houses numerous government offices, and has been evacuated.
Reports are that traffic on the Waterfront and Bridge and Jeremie streets is seriously impacted.
Only two weeks ago another bomb scare had been called in to the Courthouse on Laborie Street.
Police are continuing their investigations.
