The Management of Amurbroise Company Limited and the National Workers Union (NWU) have signed their first industrial agreement. The signing took place at the Department of Labour in the presence of the Labour Commissioner.
The new document will regulate all conditions of employment within the company’s operations. Bakery workers, drivers, sales clerks and porters will benefit from a regime of fringe benefits that cover Overtime, Paternity, Compensation for Additional Responsibilities, Call out and Call Back Allowances and Wage Adjustments.
The new industrial package will run for a period of three (3) years.
